MCAST students visit plant room at Hilton Malta

Another visit for MCAST students attending the Institute of Engineering-Building and Construction course was organised by ESI on Friday 12th May at the Hilton Hotel St Julian's. ESI gave a first hand, experience of a functioning plant room.
 
The plant room houses a modern HVAC plant, including water cooled chillers, boilers, water circulation pumps, as well as plumbing systems. The MCAST students had the opportunity to associate the theory thought in class during the year, with actual systems installed.
 
The students were able to appreciate how a well-planned, engineered and installed system is implemented on site.
